Jeff’s practice is focused upon real property, zoning, business and health law litigation. He represents businesses, property owners, insurance companies, and physicians in a range of legal matters. He also advises physicians and medical professionals on regulatory compliance.

Jeff has conducted seminars on boundary law and other property issues.  He also has been active in local government, serving on his local community council or the Millcreek Township Council for more than two decades.

Jeff is a member of the management committee of Cohne Kinghorn.  He holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest “A-V” rating and he has been repeatedly recognized as a member of Utah’s “Legal Elite” by Utah Business Magazine.  He has also been repeatedly named a Mountain States “Super Lawyer” for his abilities in commercial litigation.

Jeff was admitted to the Utah State Bar and United States District Court, District of Utah, in 1979. He is also a member of the Bar of the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Federal Circuit.

Jeff received an A.B. with distinction in history from the University of Michigan in 1976. He graduated from the University of Utah  S. J. Quinney College of Law in 1979.

Jeff is an avid bicyclist and frequently commutes on his bicycle. He also enjoys boating, camping and skiing and is a champion tailgater at both University of Michigan and University of Utah football games.  He holds season tickets at the Big House and at Rice Eccles.
