The Local Government Law practice group focuses primarily on representing local government entities including cities, towns, and special service districts.
We provide legal expertise on all aspects of local government law, including preparation of ordinances, development agreements, administration of water rights and water banking issues, assessment areas, eminent domain, interlocal government agreements, annexations, franchise agreements, easements, service agreements, code enforcement, nuisances, mining and mineral rights issues, fire and police services, employment issues, municipal elections, impact fees and legislative issues.
We also represent clients with respect to local government entities regarding litigation matters including land use litigation, employee disciplinary issues, eminent domain and inverse condemnation, assessment area foreclosures, water right transfers and disputes, bankruptcy and development issues.
